Learning Objectives

  1. Identify current client ability level (foundation/function) and develop a systematic progression plan to improve physical performance (strength, balance, movement skills)
  2. Design an appropriate and effective training workout that delivers results based on challenging athletes/clients to perform progressively more difficult exercises
  3. Create a series of workouts that enhance athleticism, caloric expenditure, explosive strength, intuitive balance and movement efficiency
  4. Provide athletes/clients with an outcome-based individualized workout using appropriate regressions and progressions
  5. Develop an appreciation for the value of including balance, movement and strength training into the workout design for all types of athletes/clients
  6. Learn well-designed diverse exercises, coaching cues, proper use of training tools and safety tips to create exciting and purposeful workouts for athletes/clients of multiple abilities
